The EUROCONTROL SWIM Technical Infrastructure (TI) Yellow Profile defines the technical requirements and recommended practices for implementing SWIM-compliant information services within the European ATM environment. It provides guidance on interoperability, service behaviour, security, and information exchange patterns to ensure consistent and reliable data sharing across aviation stakeholders.
The Yellow Profile specifies fundamental technical capabilities including secure communication using TLS, standardized request–response messaging over HTTP, use of open data formats, and a predictable service interaction model. It focuses on lightweight, loosely coupled web-based services and system-to-system information access while supporting discoverability, consistent behaviour, and harmonized service interfaces across the SWIM ecosystem.
The service conforms to the technical requirements of the EUROCONTROL SWIM TI Yellow Profile, including secure communication (TLS 1.2+), synchronous request–response pattern over HTTP, and machine-readable data delivery using open formats
