- For the VAAC London QVA Gridded Data API - 1,500 individual requests per day.
- For the VAAC London QVA Products API - 500 individual requests per day.
However, it is possible to download all data published for an individual volcano by making only four requests:
- One request to find out the volcano number from the collections information
- One request for all deterministic gridded data
- One request for all probabilistic gridded data
- One request for all IWXXM data

In order to consume the AFOD services, an AIMSL Service Request Form has to be submitted through the EAD service desk, indicating the desired services. The form is available in the EAD Service/System Information OneSky Team.
The authentication is based on WS-Security and requires all users to sign the requests using an X.509 certificate received from EAD.
