Validation
MetSafe, DSNA and France Aviation Civile Services teamed up in 2019 to speed up innovation in the ATC room. Delivery of convection forecast in the ATC room was the objective of the SESAR ENGAGE 'MET enhanced ATFCM' project.
Operational validation in the ATC room has been performed starting summer 2020: 16 FMP operators were trained on VigiAero and provided daily operational feedbacks.
Through operational validation in the ATC room, the convection forecast was validated for weather awareness and reached the objective of delivering actionable data for FMP.
