Abstract
The Airspace Reservation Exchange Service (ARES) – Portugal provides real-time tactical information on the status of airspace reservations managed by the Portuguese LARA system (Portugal Lara Service).It enables authorized systems to access or subscribe to updates about the operational status of reserved airspace—such as active, pre-active or released—supporting situational awareness and collaborative decision-making across the European ATM network.The service operates within the Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA) framework and complies with SWIM Yellow Profile specifications, ensuring interoperability and standardized information exchange with EUROCONTROL and other ATM stakeholders.
