Abstract

This NM B2B Service supports the information sharing of the dynamic changes in the airspace structure done at local level to cope with traffic levels, weather, capacity issues, etc.The service is provided by the EUROCONTROL Network Manager (NM), with the geographical extent of the IFPZ, and is in operations since March 2015, having been progressively updated. The service is part of the NM B2B Flow Services group.Through this service, the local Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) Units provide to NM the planned sector configuration activation, runway configuration, traffic volume activation, restriction activation, capacity values and occupancy traffic monitoring values (OTMV). Each update sent to NM updates the plan for the whole day, and may apply to current day (tactical updates) or to five days in the future (pre-tactical updates).The service is targeted for the local ATFM Units in what concerns the provision of the information to NM, and additionally, for the airspace users in what concerns read access to the runway configurations.
